Remember to treat yourself
We are often so busy getting things done, dealing with demands and
satisfying the desires of others that we forget ourselves. In order
to be a more effective stress manager we must make time to care for
and pamper ourselves. Time for rest, relaxation, leisure and exercise.
Also time for nurturing relationships. Time to clear our minds, to
meditate and review our lifestyle. Such time is a good investment
for boosting self-esteem. Indulge in something you really enjoy and
do not feel guilty about it. You name it ........... then do it .........go
on, treat yourself.

· save 5p coins for an end of the month extra treat
· book yourself an aromatherapy massage
· devote time to voluntary or charity work
on the move
· stop at every service-station and spoil yourself
· treat yourself to a luxury magazine
· buy ear-plugs to drown out mobile phone calls and
music from Walkmans when commuting

work
· take it in turn with colleagues to treat each other:
luxury biscuits, speciality teas, ice-creams
· buy fresh flowers for your office
· if it is possible and your working hours are flexible,
why not work longer some days so that you can take
time off during the week to pamper yourself
